Guard Rail - Accessories
Handle It Guard Rail has multiple accessories that can be added to their guard rail. Consider the following:
Lift Out Adapter – bolt lift out adapter to Handle It guard rail posts. This will allow you to then drop the rails into the lift out adapters. You can then easily remove rails if you need to access an area the guard rail is protecting. Lift out adapters are sold in pairs, so if you are doing a single high section, you only need 1 pair per section. If you are doing a double high section you will need 2 pair per section.
Down Guard Adapters – Same thing as a lift out adapter but used only on the bottom rail. This allows you to drop the rail lower to the ground to prevent any pallet jacks or forklift forks from getting under the rail. If you are doing a double high section, you will need a pair of lift out adapters on the top to line up with the extra gap the down guard adapters have created on the bottom.
Rail Hinge Gate – If you have an area that you want to access infrequently but don’t want to have to lift out rails consider a Rail Hinge Gate Assembly. This would be purchased along with the appropriate rail lengths that you require for your opening and would also require posts to attach to. Rails and posts are not included.
Rail Hinge Gate Double Assembly – Same concept as the Rail Hinge Gate Assembly but you are getting 2 assemblies instead of 1. This will allow you to open the gate in accordion style fashion. So if you have a longer section your clearance when opening is cut in half.
Adjustable Pedestrian Gate – Use this gate for high pedestrian traffic areas. Attach to existing posts and use the other post as a back stop for when the gate closes. These gates have openings that are adjustable on 6’’ increments from 36-54’’.
45 Degree Angle Adapters – Use these adapters to make a 45 degree turn with your guard rail sections. These are sold individually, so if you are using them for a double high system, you will need 2 of them.
